Main Street Academy and Day Care is an innovative, privately owned and operated daycare facility, which has been designed to meet the educational, physical and emotional needs of your child.
We have integrated various, research based, age appropriate curriculum into the right blend in order to provide
a cheerful, fun, yet safe learning environment that lets your child know how valued he/she is.
We are a licensed, state approved certified facility with trained, caring staff, which is ready to make your child a priority.
Our hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We are licensed to care for 45 children.

Rates at Main Street Academy,
effective January 5, 2009, are as follows:
Full-time care (26 - 45 hours / week) -$90.00 per week
Half-time Care (15 – 25 hours / week)-$50.00 per week
Part-time care (less than 15 hours / week) - $3.00 per hour
Hourly rate for extra hours or drop-in care - $3.00 per hour
Fee for late pick up of child - $3.00 per 30 minute interval
(or any fraction thereof) per child
Students earn ten (10) days of sick leave per calendar year of continuous enrollment.
The Main Street Academy does accept both State of South Dakota and Tribal child assistance and will be glad to assist you with any paperwork.
Fee for late payment. Fees are to be paid in advance on Friday for the following week's services. If a payment is more than five (5) days late, not including weekend days, this fee will be charged for each day payment is not made $5.00 per day. If a portion of the fee will be paid by a third party, such as an employer or the county, that payment will be accepted on a separately arranged schedule, described on the contract. We ask that you communicate with us and we will be able to work with you.
The financial terms will be finalized upon signing of the parent-provider contract.
If parent or legal guardian is under age 18, a cosigner must sign the contract to act as guarantor to the contract, and agree to be bound by all financial terms.
Families will receive a minimum of thirty day notice when a rate increase is planned.
We believe that family childcare is a very important extension of you and your family.
